To start the game, you must make a character or sign up to be a Professional NPC. To be an NPC, just email us with your intentions and availability and we will be thankful for your help. Remember, you get “risk free” experience that you can apply to any character when you NPC for us!
If you chose to make a character, follow these steps:
1)
Choose a species. Buy the Species Specific skills that best suit your character concept (3 Minor, 2 Major, 1 Greater)
2)
Choose a class. (Fighter, Rogue, Mage, Merchant, or one of the three split-classes)
3)
Purchase skills. (General – G, Fighter – F, Rogue – R, Magic User – M) with 15 starting skill points or SP as an abbreviation (each level thereafter takes 10 SP to earn)
4)
Write a character background. This helps us to involve your character in the current and ongoing plot. (Gives you and additional 2 SP to start).
5) Submit your character to LARP staff. (Please hand in written copy in person or prior to and event by email).
6)
Design your costume and
make/purchase weapons of LARP approval.
7) Sign up, play, and enjoy the game! (Don’t forget to give us your email addresses so we can keep you updated with newsletters and announcements. Also, check
the forum frequently for game dates, in-game chat, messages, and plot teasers).
